“Interview” with A Charming Fatality’s Sheriff Oscar Park

In A Charming Fatality, Book 7 in the Magical Cures Mystery Series, June Heal is forced to use her witchy ways to figure out who stole her secret potion. Rumors are flying around like broomsticks that June used a spell to murder Mr. Rossen. Someone wants her out of Head To Toe Works, but who? Will the killer get to June before she can walk down the aisle?

Today we present an interview with Oscar Park, Sheriff of Whispering Falls and June’s love interest.

Q: What is the one thing you wish your creator had done differently with you?

A: I wish she’d put more love scenes in there with me and June!

Q: If you could have added something to the story, what would that have been?

A: More scenes with me using my wizard wand instead of everything focusing on June and her gift of potion making.

Q: What do you love best about yourself? What do you like least?

A: I love that I’m a cop and that Tonya made me super cute. The girl readers seem to love that and call me their book boyfriend! The thing I like least is how June seems to get in sticky situations without me there to help her out. I don’t like my girl in danger.

Q: What part of the book was the hardest for you and your creator to work through?

A: The fact that June is in situations where she is eye-to-eye with a murderer. Since I’m the sheriff, I have to keep some things a secret and that’s hard for me to do.

Q: What do you want to accomplish in the next book?

A: To get June to the alter! I proposed a long time ago, but this time she’s committed to get hitched on All Hallow’s Eve, a big celebration for our village on Halloween night! I invite all of you to come. I can’t promise it will go off without a few tricks and spells since our Aunts are fighting over what witchy rituals we have to use. Maybe I’ll get June to run off and get married.
